The Parents’ Association of Alleyn’s School in the UK fundraised for Ganet’s Adventure School, at their Founder’s Day celebration, on July 1st, 2017. The donations were used to support the participation, of Standard 1 to 4 teachers at the Malawi primary school, in the National Reading Programme, being offered by the Ministry of Education. This 4 year project was supported throughout Malawi by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Standard 1 teachers took 2 weeks of training during their Easter holidays. This training was funded by our charity.
All Standard 1 to 4 teachers will be given 6 weeks of training over the next four years. New textbooks and teachers’ guides are to be published.
